More about Walgreen's and PDP's

Since I wrote a post on August 24th, about Walgreen's Pharmacy supplying its customers with print outs of Medicare Rx Insurance companies, I would like to add something I have just learned.

I still believe that Walgreen's is doing a great service to the public with this plan, but I have since called one of the companies on their list. I have learned that all of the information is not entirely correct. I am sure the problem has been caused by changes the companies themselves have made since the information was obtained from them originally. Prices everywhere have risen so many times. But I want to caution anyone using such a service to double check with the companies themselves before diving into a commitment. Give a call to the company you are interested in and ask them to send you a print out of their own, so there can be no mistake.
