Sky Watch Friday #39

Spring is here and the skies are looking pretty good again! Our Sky Watch is hosted by a great team. Thanks to all of them!

This past week we had a mix of weather, but the blue skies kept returning, and the fruit trees and forsythia and flowering almond were blooming, making a very pretty picture against that lovely blue.

  10. What are those pink ones? they're all over downtown here, and originally I thought they were just pink dogwoods (the state flower -- which you'd expect in the state capital). But then I looked closer and realized they were... something else. But they look a lot like these.

    Nice shooting!

  17. There are few prettier sights than blossoms and blue skies! The colours in the blossoms remind me of toffee bonbons - strawberry, lemon and plain flavoured!
