Shadow Shot Sunday again. Tracy may or may not have Mr. Linky up, since she is busy moving house. I'll have to check a little later.
I had hoped to find interesting shadows among the old Victorian houses in Cape May City. The sun wasn't cooperating too well for me that day, but here are a couple down near the Atlantic shore.
This is the Peter Shields Inn, which is a restaurant with an ocean view.

This is the Morning Star Villa. (The Evening Star backs it, on the next street, obviously facing in the opposite direction.)

And this is one of the two building of the Angel of the Sea.

I will have to try again another day with some of the other bed and breakfasts.

We seem to be on the same page today...what wonderful old relics restored to perfection...if only more would see that vision in our painted ladies!!!
The verandas on al three evoke a quiet and relaxing vacation. In the old days, sitting under while rocking nicely with a glass of ice tea and taking in the beautiful and briny sea breezes. All are so beautiful, to sit and take in the ocean air...
I lost my last comment, so here I go again..
The homes are just so beautiful..Don't you wish they could tell us stories of the past?
Wonderful pictures..
Happy SSS.
Oh my goodness ! these are such gorgeous houses .. I have to think what if they have secret gardens ? I am a gardener at heart and when i look at beautiful homes like this I wonder about anything in garden nature connected to them.
Joy
Thanks for dropping by my blog : )
Wow! Amazing architecture! We have some similar old buildings here in Sydney from the Victorian era but they are no where near as elaboriate or complicated or big! I think that shows perhaps America had more money at that time or the locals were into grander architecture? Anyway, thanks for these - I love architecture and history!
Those three buildings are so gorgeous. It interest me to see these kind of historic place because I like to know the story behind it. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful old houses. Well, I hope the sun appears for you to get some shadows! Have a good weekend.
Those are beautiful Victorian houses, beckoning us to come and sit a spell on the porch.
