Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadow Shots are fun! Why not join us. Go to see Tracy at Hey Harriet to read about it.

I love trees. This one is definitely one of my favorites, and every once in a while I just have to stop and take its picture.

Yes...trees certainly change the perspective.

Some have a lot of character. And if you get real close it can whisper words of wisdom in your heart.

Beautiful tree-I can see why it's one of your favorites!
What kind is it?

I agree with you about trees - there is one near us that I take regular photos of!!

This is a lovely tree! The tree has character, each big limb following its own unique trail toward the sun. Naturally, the shadows are as expansive and unique as the subject. That is a beautiful yard sitting within sun and shade...

I share your love of trees Bobbie, they are good souls

A well manicured lawn, with flowers and trees can't beat that scenery. Looks like the tree is too old already but looking good. Happy Sunday!

I bet that tree senses that you love it and smiles inside when it sees you with your camera. :)

What great photos, and what a wonderful tree.

My first thought was that it could have been one of the "Tree Folk" from the Lord of the Rings. The last shot looks to me like it is trying to talk.
