Traveler, the path is nothing more than your footsteps; traveler, there is no path, a path is made as you go. You make the path as you go, and on looking back you see a trail that never can be walked again. Traveler, there is no path, only a wake in the sea. - Antonio Machado

POEM IN YOUR POCKET
Thanks to my daughter, I learned about Poem in Your Pocket, going on in New York City on April 17th, in honor of National Poetry Month.
The idea is to carry a poem in your pocket to share with a friend. Kind of a nice idea, huh?
If you're in New York, by all means, join in. There's a schedule of activities, as well as poems, at the link above. If you aren't in New York, heck, why not do it anyway? I'll remind you later.
cool idea :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I quite often carry poems in my pocket, when I can find a book small enough to fit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea!
