Traveler, the path is nothing more than your footsteps; traveler, there is no path, a path is made as you go. You make the path as you go, and on looking back you see a trail that never can be walked again. Traveler, there is no path, only a wake in the sea. - Antonio Machado

Video Worth Watching
I have just read a blog post by the Cunning Runt, at The Little Bang Theory. He has included a video made by Phillip Butler, who was a classmate of John McCain at the Naval Academy, and who was also a prisoner of war along with him and about 600 other men. In it, he simply expresses his opinion, in a very calm, rational manner. No theatrics - just a statement of fact as he sees it.
I could not find a way to embed the video here, so I hope that you will go to the link to Little Bang Theory and take a look and a listen.
This is a MUST see/hear for everyone ... even the 'choir'

Thanks for the heads up. The video is indeed well worth watching. I'll add him to my list. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat was really interesting! Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting comments from the guy in the video. Sounds like McCain has always had a bit of a short fuse, and it only makes me wonder how 5+ years as a POW might have influenced that, as well as any possible long-term physical effects.
ReplyDeleteChilling words from someone who knows!!
ReplyDeletethanks for the link
I am SO GLAD to see this. I just got another email praising McC and bashing Obama, and I sent this to him. He's another person who thinks that military service makes you more fit to be prez. POOH!
ReplyDeleteBobbie, thanks so much for the mention and referrals! I get regular emails from several activist organizations and will try to link to more of them.
ReplyDeleteAnd deborah, I have the same concerns - I can't quite imagine going through that ordeal and coming out "normal."
'Course, I'm not actually claiming that I'd go into such a situation "normal..."
CR: I'm glad some of my readers came to visit your blog.
ReplyDeleteFor the rest of you: Obviously, I have the same concerns. Spread the word. Thanks for your interest.
Love the octopus photos below!
