Shadow Shot Sunday #22



It's Sunday again in Australia, although it's still Saturday here in the U.S., and time for another Shadow Shot. I took this one about a week ago in my side yard. I love asters!

    I passed an entire field of purple asters the other day, hard to believe our summer is over with such beauty abounding.

    How fun - at first glance the flowers on the bottom looked like butterflys hovering over the other flowers!

    I love the color purple! These flowers really pop with the grey sidewalk as the backdrop. Nice shot!

    I love asters, too, Bobbie. In fact, I love any kind of purple flower. Lilacs are my favorites because the smell reminds me of my childhood. My parents had several lilac trees in the yard and you could smell them outside the bedroom window.

    wow it's amazing how the shadows are more defined than the flower itself! I love how the dancing shadow petals seem to almost come out of nowhere

    Hmmm … this is a ‘new one’ to me … I don’t think I’ve seen ‘Shadow Shot Sunday’ previously thought I see this is #22 for you … so perhaps I’ve seen it but it hasn’t ‘registered’ in my mind? Stranger things have happened. I do love your purple asters (and their shadows too).
