Shadow Shot Sunday #30

It's Sunday in Australia, and time for another Shadow Shots, hosted by Tracey at Hey Harriet. I took a brief detour last week, when Carmi decreed that his weekly Thematic Photographic on his blog, Written Inc., should be done on the theme of Shadow. That was fun. But his theme changes each week, so now I am back to the regular routine.

As most of us do, I went food shopping last week. As I was walking into the store, I happened to look down, and of course, I saw my shadow.

And this is me, taking a picture of me w
ith the shopping cart.

Shadow Shots are a lot of fun. Why not join us? Or at least go to see Hey Harriet and look at all the photos, or join in if you like.

  3. As a genre, I really like shadow shots in general, and this one it especially neat - love that you caught yourself holding up the camera! Very clever - we often think of shadows as dark or dramatic, but you've captured one full of humor!!

  7. Great one! I love the angle and the shadow.

Carmi's meme sounds great too but I'm never quite ready to participate. Hope to one day soon, though.

    I hope you're having a good weekend.

  18. I don't know if people thought it strange that I was taking pictures of my shadow. I really didn't pay any attention to anyone around me. But I don't think it would have mattered. I don't worry much about what people think. I just enjoy myself.
