Sunsets this time of year are short lived. You see the lovely colors glowing, and before you know it, the sun sinks rapidly into the water, and is gone.
I took these pictures about a week ago. I was up by the bay, and was trying to focus on a tree that I liked, when I saw the light quality change.

I turned to my left, and saw the sky glowing red. It only lasted a moment when the glowing sun dropped quickly.

As I was telling Arija, it's amazing how similar our ever changing skies are! These are beautiful and look remarkably like Seattle skies. I guess it really is "one world" isn't it? Thank you for the beautiful look at your skies!

ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it, you can just about watch it move when it gets that close to the horizon. Coming up or going down! Back in October when I spent a good deal of time catching both sunrise and sunset over the ocean I was stunned at how rapid the change was.
