Mellow Yellow Monday



A new meme! It sounds to me like a fun one. Yellow is the color of sunshine! Thank you for creating this one, Drowsy Monkey. I wish you well with the new venture. I'm sure it will be a success. And thanks to the Pagan Sphinx for introducing it to me through her entry.

My first entry is a photo that has appeared in my blog in the past. it is from one of my visits to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse gardens this past summer.

    Ah what a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a butterfly to enjoy too. If I close my eyes and quickly open them up again I am nearly there... in the middle of summer and can nearly smell the delicate scent of these flowers.
    So nice to see a familiar name in this meme too :)

    To Anil - The butterfly is a Monarch
    - one of thousands that pass through our area on their way to Mexico to over-winter.

    Just had to pop back in here after discovering that there is in fact a meme called Blue Monday. I stumbled upon it this morning and remembered the comment I left here yesterday. I was in no way implying that one meme was better than the other. Silly me! Always putting my foot in my mouth ;)
