On this Shadow Shot Sunday I am visiting a back road lined with phragmites. I know that these wetlands reeds are often considered a nuisance, but I love them. They are so beautiful when the sun shines through their silky tassels. On this day I enjoyed seeing the shadows they create along the road.

I have been catching up with your blog...We are at Panerea Bread for coffee and free Wifi...MY connection with my broadband card has been slow here and I have to venture out if I want to read blogs or post..so i dont do it often.

I never knew what these things were called. In my mind I was thinking they were "pampas grass" and left it at that, but it's great to know (they are everywhere here) what they are!

I love walking outdoors and there is something very special about wetlands. They always seem sorta romantic like to me. Sorta dreamy. Nice way to spend my Sunday late afternoon!
