Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted by Tracey, at Hey Harriet. Thank you, Tracey.

While my family was visiting last week, we went down to the beach at Cape May. The sun was bright, but it was chilly and windy. My daughter and son-in-law had the four year old by the hands, and this was the result.

  1. We all love our shadows, don't we? My granddaughter posted on FB a shadow photo of her and her friends' jumping up.

  7. Aren't four year-old granddaughters delightful? I have been blessed with two (plus four other grandchildren of random ages). Your shots are beautiful.

  9. That's a grandson not a granddaughter, folks. He and his male friends all seem to have hair that long.

  14. Cute photos! They remind me of the one of the first books I had as a kid - children's poems by Robert Louis Stevenson. One of my favorites was called "I have a little shadow" Do you remember it?

  18. The shadows look a little like those cut-out boys and girls you can make by folding paper.

  21. The little family's shadows are a great SS--love the textures of the denim, the sand, the sky and the water--and sea shell bonuses too!
