hummingbird nest, the female was sitting on the eggs, as usual. She took off, and just a few minutes later, the male came to take his turn. So, I'm happy to say, both Mama and Papa are taking their duties seriously.
Thanks for the update on the Hornby eagle chicks, too. I was so relieved to hear the little guy is getting parental attention! Sometimes that "heir and a spare" policy in nature can be tough!!
