Mellow Yellow Monday



It's Mellow Yellow Monday once again. Drowsey Monkey is waiting to see all of our sunny yellow pictures.

Today I have one that caught my eye in a shopping mall. I don't usually like to show ads, and I'm certainly not pushing beer. But it is bright yellow, and I thought it was a pretty clever slogan. So - - here it is:



On the other hand, I have passed this sign for months now, and finally stopped to take its picture. It's just blank, yellow - just waiting for someone to paint a large "MELLOW YELLOW" on it!

    The first shot is great commercial advertising for your summer season but that blank yellow billboard is hilarious! And no grafitti on it!

    Gimme a paint brush. I'll add something to that bare yellow sign. Like the Mellow Yellow logo for sure!

    The top one reminds me that I want to visit the Jersey shore and I like the fish symbol in the bottom one.:-)

    I like the slogan. Sometimes I may not like a particular product but I do appreciate good creativity.
    The sign is a way cool find. I want to paint 'Have you ever been Mellow' on it. :)

    What is the symbolism of the color yellow for Mondays? I thought it was blue.
    I wish I could have that yellow empty sign and my brushes! The beer sign is the best.

    Celeste, I think the meme's creator simply loves the color - as do I. It's so bright and cheerful. Perhaps it's meant to counteract the "blue" feeling?

    It always surprises me, just how much yellow can be found everywhere. I guess a lot of people find it to be their favorite. I can't bring myself to say "my favorite". Colors and all shades of color should be seen all together, and my "favorite" depends on my mood of the day.
