Sky Watch #57

Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Louise, Fishing Guy and Wren are once more bringing us
Sky Watch Friday, and people from all over the world are bringing us pictures of their beautiful skies.

On the last day of July it was hot and humid. The day started like this:

But it ended like this:

We had quite a series of brief, violent thunder storms.

  6. Amazing how things contort like that... altocumulus, mackerel skies, not long wet, not long dry. Awesome.

  8. Nice before and after shots! The sky and weather is so unpredictable these days. We had a tornado come dangerously close to us over the weekend, bringing angry skies too.
    Happy Friday!

  14. We started out like you but didn't get the violent thunderstorms. It's ironic that we could use more rains when we were so afraid of Hurricane Felicia hitting us.
