Sky Watch Friday



Every week the Sky Watch team brings us this great meme. We are very grateful to them for their help. Go on over to the Sky Watch site to see wonderful pictures from all over the world.

All summer I waited for butterflies to discover my garden. Only one or two showed up for months. But at the beginning of October they finally arrived. I guess they were on their way to the shores of Delaware Bay to begin their migration to Mexico. I managed to capture a few to show you.









And all the while, this fellow sat above and watched me and my camera chasing the butterflies.

    Oh, I love all your shots today, Bobbie! That's not unusual though because you do get such great captures! The butterflies against the skies, the lovely blossoms! Perfect! And I also love the watchful bird!!

    I rarely get butterflies in my yard despite having a butterfly bush, so I have enjoyed seeing yours.

    looking at them it makes me think of little flying stained glass windows. beautiful captures of these lovely butterflies.

    Beautiful butterflies, Bobbie! Love that color. :) Are those Monarchs? When I was a kid, I loved to hunt for their chrysalises among the milkweeds.
