Shadow Shot Sunday

That time of the week again! Tracy is hosting Shadow Shot Sunday. Go to visit her blog, Hey Harriet, to see what people from around the world have found in the shadows.

Sitting in my living room one afternoon, I notice a single ray of sun lighting a glass bowl. Taking a note from my friend Sylvia's lovely shadow shots each week, I became curious how other colored glass would look in the same beam of light. This was the result.

  2. These are terrific, Bobbie! See how you can find color shadows? The blue vase is just like mine -- we do have lots in common!! I love all of these and the colors!!

    Enjoy your weekend!

  5. The real beauty of these shadows is the subtle hint of color that radiates from the subject. The white walls allow just the right amount of gray shadow and light hint of amber, blue and green. So artistic!

  7. These turned out great! Isn't it lovely how we are all inspired by each other to try new things? I need to experiment with coloured glass/shadows one day too. I'm just a little short on coloured glass...
