We are all grateful to Tracy for hosting Shadow Shot Sunday each week.
We had a little rain this week. Well, actually, more than just a little. My daughter, Rita, took these pictures in front of the library, where she works. I think the shadows in the water are interesting.

Wow! It is rainy there! I do like the shadows in the water! Great shots, Bobbie! Hope you have a good weekend! Stay dry and warm!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
they are interesting
ReplyDeletethey enhance the ripples
poor NJ, we really need better drainage
It has been a rainy year..if we weren't so cold it would have been rain rather than snow...Michelle
ReplyDeleteNow, that's a lot of water!
ReplyDeleteDuring winter, its good to look at pictures during summer
That storm brought 3 inches of wet snow and rain to us in CT. The shadows are occurring without sun, and are clearly sen under the clouds and rain. Nice effects!
ReplyDeleteGosh that's a lot of rain! I wish some of it would make its way over here. It looks like there's plenty to spare :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks awfully wet.
ReplyDeleteBobbie ~ enjoyed the subtlety of those watery shadows. Also enjoyed
ReplyDeleteyour past several posts, especially "The Tree"... so evocative of
childhood and what the holidays truly mean. Thanks for your recent
visits!
Deb
Much rain here too! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteYes, the shadows are good. Matisse didn't like the routine, so you are in good company! But the variety of memes offers something for everyone. Nice composition in the last photo!
ReplyDeletethey are interesting! though that flooding looks like a big pain in the butt.
ReplyDeleteWOW ... that IS a lot of rain! We've FINALLY gotten some rain here in Southern California and I've been dancing for JOY! I understand your thoughts about memes ... feel that way sometimes myself, though it's often a meme that gets me to post SOMETHING these days when I might not blog at all. I don't always participate every week, and I seldom get to visit everyone ... but I do what I can and figure it has to be good enough ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
My Shadow Shots
We've had a lot of wet weather recently, but the last few days have been very cold and frosty - just the thing to get in the mood for Christmas! As for routine - I like routine in my life, but I also like doing spur of the moment things!!
ReplyDeletethanks for your visit. we had lots of rain this week as well. the garden will be sufficed with water for a week! lol
ReplyDeleteAll we can think of is just how much SNOW that would have been!!
ReplyDeleteslosh, slosh, slosh...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
Wow - can't believe all the water. Better than ice and snow!
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow shots!
Perhaps it should be re-named Library Lake!
