Shadow Shot Sunday

This week my daughter, Kitty, has sent me photos of her wonderful garden in California. I think they are beautiful. Hope you enjoy them.

The first is of shadows of lavender on her drive.



And I have always loved California poppies.

    Marvelous shadow shots, Bobbie! I love the lavender -- Adam has just planted it all around our house, can't wait for them to get big and fortunately they do grow fast. And the poppies are delightful! Love the rich color! Have a wonderful weekend!

    The shadows on the sidewalk are nice - concrete seems so gray and wanting for artistic shadows! The pistils on each plant are small, but leave such mighty shadows. What a garden!

    Bobbie I am a gardener so shots from a garden, are right up there for me .. shadow or not I love them and wow !! on those poppies !
    I don't have luck with them .. maybe it is our COLD Canuck winters here up north ? LOL

    Great shadows, Californian poppies are so delicate. We grow them here in New Zealand, they love our Summer climate.

    We used to grow those beautiful little poppies. For a while they came up year after year. but not so snymore. We have the big red poppies which are going to be so beautiful this year. Happy Weekend, Ann.
