his morning I was looking through the box of ornaments. Even though I will not be putting up the tree this year, the ornaments are fun, and they all bring me happy memories. I began to wonder as I did this, just how many Santa ornaments I have. It seemed like an awful lot of them.Sometimes I get a little crazy. (Sometimes?) I decided to find out, and started to lay them out. This was what I came up with at the time. Later,
I found at least three more. And I wouldn't be surprised if the other box - the one too high up on the shelf of the tool shed for me to reach - could have more. I have a LOT of ornaments!Now I wonder how many angel ornaments I have? Oh - and how many snow flakes? There are the ones I needlepointed, and the ones my sister crocheted, and those delicate wooden ones.

Such lovely ornaments and I'm sure they hold many lovely memories! Trees are nice, but we don't need them to celebrate a season of love and joy. You have the means to do that just looking at your ornaments and remembering all the lovely Christmases that were. And may you have a beautiful one this year!
Personally I like your 'piglet' the best.

Our tree is decorated with an assortment we've accumulated through the years. None match, but we love them dearly.
Each year is a walk down memory lane, as we hang and rehang all the ornaments made by our children and given by friends.

Don't you just love those ornaments that keep making an appearance year after year? It's like a little nostalgic treasure hunt every year when I open the box.
