Once again it's time to scan the skies. And thanks to Fishing Guy, Ivar, Klaus, Sandy, Wren and Louise, we have Sky Watch Friday where we can enjoy beautiful photos from all over the world.
These photos were taken a few months ago, before winter brought us gray and brooding skies. I took them looking over the Delaware Bay, along Beach Drive, where local residents like to sit and look out over the water, and wait for the sunset each night.
A single gull sails over the water, beneath the gathering clouds.

What a wonderful place that bench must be to sit on! And the gull is delightful in the cloudy sky. It does so look like a winter sky. Will spring be here soon? I sure hope so!

I love it. The white sand attracts my attention, but I agree with Daryl about just sitting and looking.

Very wintery shots. Grey skies seem to be your mood this week too. Still I love picture number two. The clouds have structure and the gull looks so free up there.
What wonderful wintry beach scenes ... I love the first one especially! I participated at Happily Retired Gal and Sacred Ruminations on Friday but haven't had time to do any blog visiting for a few days. I'm doing what I can to catch up this evening after being away from home all day.
