Shadow Shot Sunday #70

Each week Tracy, of Hey Harriet, hosts Shadow Shot Sunday for us, starting on Saturday morning in the U.S. Tracy is in Australia, where it's Sunday already.

This week I drove over to an area nearby called Bennett's Bog. We've had a lot of rain, so I couldn't even drive into the parking area, and wouldn't attempt to hike into that clearing beyond. But it made a pretty, shadowy picture.

It looks like a beautiful area, Bobbie, but I bet it is full of mosquitoes!

If it weren't for the rain, this looks like it would be a peaceful spot to meander through.

You just need to pop on some Wellies and walk on in with your camera...could be some interesting shots ahead...especially of you stuck in the bog...ha!

Have a great weekend!!!

These shadows make the swampy surface look soft and carpet like. The bright sun doe not obliterate the green watery view here. A place to get away from it all!

Looks wet. All the rain may pay off in the form of a extra colorful foliage season in New England. We'll see!

Happy Sunday

Naturally and peaceful although you didn't reach that beyond.

Lovely shadows filtered through those green leafy trees. Methinks I'd love to walk there but I'd definitely wear my 'bug off' clothes from REI. I wonder if we'll ever have rain again here in Southern California ... it's been so long and everything is sooooo dry! I pray we make it through the heat spell predicted for next week without more wildfires.
Hugs and blessings,
