Shadow Shot Sunday
Shadow Shot Sunday once again. Tracy, at Hey Harriet, is hosting for us.
In Australia, where Tracy is, the weather is balmy. Not so here, on the eastern shore of the United States. We have already had a couple of snow storms this winter. One morning last week I woke to find another two inches or so of snow. Well, here in New Jersey it hasn't really been all that bad so far, as it has elsewhere. And it is pretty - at least when it has just fallen. Makes for pretty shadows too.

Really nice winterwether:-)
Have a great sunday!
That's a lot of snow!
Hello there,
Snow here and there! Aren't we tired? But hey! they winter lools amazing. Frosty everywhere and so white?
See? you still got the perfect shot though the snowy.
Happy SS...
Wonderful wintry views and shadows. It sure looks COLD where you are. Sounds like we're finally in for significant RAIN ... and if the weather predictions are accurate, we'll have more wet stuph in the next 7 days than we've had in the past few YEARS! Needless to say, I'm waiting to plant my flat of pansies ... just because ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Uh oh ... my Shadow Shots are on my WordPress site and I signed in with my Blogger ID ... silly me.
Hugs and blessings,
Looks like home...all in all I can't complain too loudly about this winter, it came late and we haven't had a lot of snow...YET...but that doesn't mean I have to like it...LOL!
Those are beautiful, Bobbie! Makes me wish for more snow here.
Brrrr, brrrrr, brrrr, brrrr, brrr!!
Send some of that snow OUR way! Odd that I should be saying that, being an islander.
It was a searing 49 degrees F here yesterday.
Your images certainly captured the feeling of the weather though.
Marvelous, snowy shadow shots, Bobbie! I know it's cold, but it is so beautiful! I love the last one in particular! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!
Sylvia
yes it is very pretty isn't it?
The fresh snow is a fine canvas. The hit of sun mixed with the wonderful 'after the storm' crisp and clean air makes foe excellent shadows. The stylish shadow world looks beautiful here, and captured nicely!
Nothing better for shadows than sunlight and snow.
I'm glad you enjoyed the agave shadows.
Beautiful shots. I particularly love the first one with the poor red flowers (I'm guessing poincianas) buried under the snow. It's all a bit surreal sitting here in sunny Brisbane. Keep warm!
Wow! That's so beautiful!! It's a real winter wonderland!!!
Beautiful wintry scenes. Love the first image the most..
thanks for the visit
These are delightful! I'm jealous of your pretty snow. Not so jealous of your cold temps though ;)
Your snow photos are magic. I love the splash of red in your first one. I wish I could jump around in that snow right now, it's so hot here in Australia.
Nice series. I like the one with the post box best.
Lovely shots. I haven't seen my home (South Jersey) in 25 years! thanks!
Why don't you come on over to my blog and visit a while
Fresh fallen snow looks lovely - and I bet you coped with it better than we did - now ours has mostly gone and we are into that depressing grey phase.
you're getting more snow than us up the parkway
it's pretty
and a nuisance
Lovely snowy pictures-I especially love the first one with the red flowers peeping out. Stay warm!
Lovely photos - especially the last one. We are rapidly thawing, but there are still great mounds of snow at the side of the roads.
your the light, newly fallen, fluffy stuff make for pretty shadows...my settled, crusty, gray/brown stuff not so much.
very pretty shadow photos...
happy sss.
Lovely...here in SF we have to go up to the mountains to see any snow.
That's really pretty, love those bright red flowers too!
Actually, it's very beautiful. Too bad it has to fall on roads and sidewalks, though!
I love your wintry shadows Bobbie, they are so bright & cheery!
That is really pretty..we are into a thaw here in wny..not so pretty, but dirty and wet...Michelle
Nice snow pics. Thanks for stopping by
Lovely shots. The snow adds a different dimension to everyday things.
