Not a huge problem. But one caused by the storms. When I finally was dug out - the back door cleared and the ramp shoveled off - I went down to the car. It wasn't about to go anywhere, drifted in, but I thought I'd better start it, since that hadn't happened for at least a week. When I opened the door, I looked down and saw a big piece of ice hanging below it. Stupidly, I kicked at it. The minute I'd done it, I knew it was a foolish thing to do, and it hurt.
After a day or two, my ankle started to swell and turn black and blue. In the following couple of weeks it just kept getting worse. It was painful to wear a shoe or try to walk. X-rays showed no break. Doctors hadn't a clue either. It's now three weeks, and it is actually getting better. But, as I often do, I decided to 'toon it. So - what the heck - here it is.

Ouch! Hope you are on the mend and feeling better soon! Sounds like you did a number! Cute cartoon!
awww! Bobbie!
yeah, this winter has been a tough one, though I am glad you have kept your sense of humor.
I hurt my back last Friday shoveling snow. It only felt better yesterday.
I guess that is nothing compared to 3 weeks!
Gosh, Bobbie... I would have done the same thing. I would have broken my ankle though. I think my bones are not as strong as they used to be.
I am sorry about your leg but look at the full half of the glass: you have more time for your art. And you are really talented. Your toons are great fun. I have no time for my painting lately. Of course I don't want to break my leg for it.
Have a nice weekend!
Gee - I wouldn't call this "art". It's fun, and does take some imagination to create the characters from the various body parts offered by toonlet.com. But I don't think of it as art.
I love your cartoons! You're very good! I'm so sorry about your foot and I am glad it is on the mend -- even if it is slowly -- seems everything about me mends/moves more slowly than it used to -- well everything except my mouth it never slows down!!! And I think Isaac has extraordinary powers! How fun! Can't wait to see pictures of his creations!!
Oh dear...I would have done the same thing.. Something simple causing so much pain...We don't need another health problem..be careful dear Bobbie... Michelle

I am such a klutz I am used to turning black/blue with a clue as to what I did .. at least you know how it happened. Glad to hear its on the mend.
