Today would have been my husband's 87th birthday. See - we're doing it again - reversing numbers. He 87. I am 78. He was born in 23, I in 32. We were married in 57. He died in 75. Strange, how these coincidences occur.
But this is my favorite picture of him. I just love it. He was growing up in Hempstead, NY. wasn't he the cutest darned kid you ever saw?
Happy Birthday, Darling. I miss you.

Lovely. Thank you for sharing, Bobbie. By the way, as time goes on, I'm finding 'coincidences' odder and odder.
Nice photos - he was good looking. I love the black and white first shot.
Happy birthday to Ralph and your obviously loving memories. My former husband is Ralph, as is his father. And even though we've parted, I have fond feelings and memories and we are good friends, as you know.
Your Ralph is so handsome. I'm sure he is with you every moment, even when you're not directly thinking of him.
I know how much my dear mother misses my father who died in 2005. Your post is very touching to my heart.
He was adorable, Bobbie. I'd like to believe he knows about this post.
How long has he been gone?
That is a very interesting set of coincidences.
he was an incredibly cute little boy
and I know he was lucky to have found you :)
Those black and white photos are gems. Very touching.
Oh Bobbie...I wish you two could have been together still. It is so unfair...Michelle
Those are wonderful photos, Bobbie. And such a sweet post. You never stop missing them. That's what keeps them with you.
