Went shopping today for just a few grocery items. But there they were - seeds for a spring garden. I couldn't resist. I picked up a dozen packets, including a couple of nasturtiums for the container on the front step.
I usually get too impatient, and end up buying at least some plants. But I do like to start things from seed. Sunflowers grow quickly. I included some of those too.

Mrs. Bear forced me into the garden yesterday. We always think that 1st March marks the beginning of Spring but it was VERY cold! Still, the sky was a perfect blue, so it was lovely anyway. I managed to get one bed weeded and cleared ready for planting and then rested with a nice cup of tea. Maybe more gardening soon!
Went to the dollar store after work. They had seeds out. Didn't buy any, but bought a couple more birdbaths. I have to admit that I am starting to get the spring time itch and wanting to dig in and smell the dirt.
It will be here soon enough.
I have been planning things I want to plant this season too. I am glad you were able to get out Bobbie...Michelle
We were in Illnois a couple of weeks ago and I saw some seeds and bought them. Made me like feel like Spring was here. Then wwe returned to Colorado and the snow.
Seeds are sitting on the counter.

I remember the years in my previous lives when I planted my seeds in peat pots in the winter inside so they'd be already to stick in the ground when spring came.
