Shadow Shot Sunday

On Shadow Shot Sundays, Tracy hosts the meme for us. Check out the fun shadows everyone has found.

A lot of people seemed to enjoy my pictures of some of the Victorian houses in Cape May last week. It was a little cloudy then, but the sun came out during the week, and I decided to do some more of them.
One of my favorite places in Cape May is the Chalfonte Hotel.

The architecture is varied. I thought this one was unusual.

Many of the houses sit very high to avoid flooding during storms.

I like this one a lot.

and finally, there is this one.

HAPPY EASTER to all who celebrate it!

What gorgeous houses! They do look just as I have pictured them in the area where you live! And what terrific shots of shadows and houses! Wonderful post, Bobbie, as always! Have a great weekend!

Fascinating range of Victorian domestic architecture! The last one almost looks like a church! Beautiful!

BEAUTIFUL!!! I haven't seen anything like it living here in Australia.

All are beautiful! The Victorian influences, the detailing, is a throwback to days before 800 number reservations and similar design of today. Like last week, the look today is of a genteel relaxing place, under a veranda should it rain and briny sea breezes all summer. I can hear the surf now...

Happy Easter to you as well!

Oh my gosh they are very impressive looking homes! And so huge! It would take me forever to keep one of those mansions clean. Perhaps those residents are lucky enough to have cleaners :)

I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend Bobbie!
