  2. I lost a very dear friend this year and though over the years our paths seldom crossed anymore, the world is bit lonely without him. Friends are very special and I understand the sadness of the loss of one.

  5. Hi Bobbie,
I can tell that Jack is an important person in your life. What a loving gesture to post his image in your blog! I've not been with you long enough to know who he is, but I do know that Parkinson's is a cruel disease. I'm very sorry for your loss.

  6. Thank you all very much for the kind words. Jack was a childhood friend and a Maryknoll priest. He suffered with Parkinson's for a long time, and he died peacefully on Friday. I do appreciate your thoughts.

  11. I'm so sorry for your loss, I recall your posts about him...he was a very special friend to you. The gift of friendship lives on in our hearts, even though the one we love is no longer with us here on this earth.

  12. Again, thank you all. It's difficult to lose someone you have known all of your life,
but after living so long with Parkinson's, I'm told that he was prepared for it to end, and he was at peace.
