SKY WATCH



Barnegat Lighthouse is another of my favorites. Oh well - I have to admit it. They are all my favorites. I tried climbing the steps inside this one once, but never made it to the top. It is in a very pretty setting, and I have spent many happy hours there from time to time. The day I took this picture was bright and sunny, and also cold and windy.

    Hi! I must say that of all the lighthouses that you have posted, this one is by far my favorite. The trees, clouds and blue sky, Ahhh. I can almost hear the ocean waves crashing. Lisa

    Great sky and I love that lighthouse. What is it about lighthouses that enthralls us so?

    Beautiful sky! I love those clouds. You have the most amazing lighthouse pictures. Did you hear on the news today that they found a missing Cape Cod lighthouse in California? How do you lose a lighthouse? ;-)

    Isn't sky watch friday lovely; all this visiting and chatting with each other. Your beautiful lighthouse photo reminds me of one in our region. I shall have to look my photo up and compare it to yours; and post it next on my 'varying seasons'. Its not as tall I don't think but of the same shape and colours.

    Lighthouses don't get enough credit...great shot...is Barnegat near Loveladies..we used to rent a house there...great spot.

    GREAT picture! I used to live in southern NJ. I lived right on Barnegat Bay. Of course, the lighthouse wasn't located there. I'd love to know where this is. Is it near Long Branch, by chance?
