Sky Watch Friday #37

Sky Watch Friday once again. Thanks to Klaus and his team for hosting.

My daughter, Kathryn, lives in north central California. These are her photos, from a visit to Garapata State Park. I have included eight of the many she took, because I simply could not choose any fewer. I think she did a wonderful job of recording her visit.

This is Garapata State Park.

She calls this one "Paths to Paradise".

Rocks rock!

Hills, sky and birds.

Waves in the water. Waves in the sand made by the wind.

Happy calla lilies.

Garapata beach.

Callas and the Pacific Ocean.

  3. I'm positively swooning over the callas...I struggle to grow them and here they are growing in the wild, guess I had better add this place to the list of things I need to see and places I need to go!
    Lovely!

  14. Hi Bobbie, if your daughter doesn't have a blog she should have one. She takes the prettiest pictures for you! The bottom is my favorite, guess I can see plenty of sky in the reflections.
Happy SkyWatching! (I have a reflection picture today too, a Sky Looking post.) :-)

  19. Oh my ... these are even MORE lovely than the marvelous shots I just looked at and commented upon. I've not thought of Calla Lilies for along time, but they grew in my dad's garden in my childhood home and remind me of him. Thanks! You know how I love the ocean and these views are wonderful.
    Hugs and blessings,
