#200

This is my 200th blog post. I zoomed right by #100 without even noticing. Is it possible that I have had that much to say that I have posted 200 times just since January 7th? I guess it's true that the older you get, the more garrulous you get. And I guess the question is: Is it just talk or am I actually saying anything?

I started out telling about my kids, then my grandkids, and I went through the 30's, the 40's and the 50's in my own life, in no time flat. I could fairly hear my kids moaning, "Yes, Ma, we've heard it before." But here I was, with a blank page in front of me, and even a new audience. And I discovered that blogging is about saying what I feel like saying. If someone doesn't want to read it they can just move on to another blog. And you know what? My kids do read it. (Well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad. - My son doesn't even read his own email.)

I've sounded off about a lot of things, and I've discovered other people who feel the same way about things that I do. That boosts the spirits. And I've found some people who don't, and that's OK too, because we can still be friends. I like it! Think I'll keep at it for a while longer - probably as long as I last. I love getting up in the morning and finding friends on my computer screen. Thanks for being there.

Congratulations on #200.
It is amazing that we who are new to blogging have made new friends from all around the world.
Everyone has found their own group of like-minded people to read and share comments with each other.
And as you say "If someone doesn't want to read it they can just move on to another blog."
I'm happy to have found your blog and all I can say is keep on blogging.
We need people like you in the blogosphere.

Good Grief! It has been 200 entries. Good for you. I remember when you first started. You didn't how often you would blog and look at this 200. I am glad you that you blog often. Even though I have known you for, oh what is it now, 15 years, I still learn something new. I hope you do another 200 or more. Lisa

I'm sure the two comments above were intended for my Sky Watch above this post. That's what I get for doing two posts on one day.

Lisa, you didn't think I had it in me, did you? Which blog was it where I found that saying: "People who don't know me think I'm quiet. People who do wish I was."? Can't remember who said it,but I guess it applies here.

Thank you Bobbie, for visiting my SWF. Your Photos with the approaching storm are fantastic. It is always sort of exciting but also dangerous, hoping the storm passes without any damage.)
I have read your story about Charly and Harley, very sweet companions. I have lost a few of my best four legged friends, never forgotten.
