Mellow Yellow Monday

It is Mellow Yellow Monday once again, and you can visit Drowsey Monkey to see lots of bright yellow pictures.

I have been seeing many, many political ads on TV for the men running for the Governor of New Jersey. The ads are bad enough. I've also looked at their records. I have reached the following conclusion:

I always loved Walt Kelly's Pogo the Possum cartoons anyway. Pogo was a wise little character.

I suspect Pogo would be better for the job than most!

Have to admit that I do not follow New Jersey politics, and I am not familiar with Walt Kelly or Pogo the Possum.

But, I love the yellow button. I do go pogo but it is on game site.

Nice MYM.

We’ll know they are us
when we meet the enemy,
’cause Pogo says so.

The guy challenging Corzine looks like he is going to have a heart attack ... I dont know much about Corzine other than he's a Dem .. so I guess Pogo is a good choice ...

The first time I've seen the character. What a lovely button.

Sweet!! And I'm with you. They are all a bunch of bad cartoons. Go POGO!!

I don't know Pogo either except on a game site but I like the button. I also like those chicken jokes you always post like the ones below. They are so funny. The idea of a book from construction paper with pictures of the cars you told me about on my site is a great one. Thanks for visiting and thanks for the idea.

Is Magical Mystical Teacher the only one who remembers Pogo?
Walt Kelly died some time ago, and Pogo is no more, but his was such a great comic strip. It had a political flavor - more wise observations than taking any sides. Pogo and his animal friends lived in Okeefenokee Swamp (spelling?)
