Sky Watch #57

Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Louise, Fishing Guy and Wren are once more bringing us
Sky Watch Friday, and people from all over the world are bringing us pictures of their beautiful skies.

On the last day of July it was hot and humid. The day started like this:

But it ended like this:

We had quite a series of brief, violent thunder storms.

Oh, Bobbie, what a difference a cloud makes, huh? Terrific shots, as always!

Have a great weekend!

Very impressive change!

Amazing how things contort like that... altocumulus, mackerel skies, not long wet, not long dry. Awesome.

The nature always plays with us ;-)

Nice before and after shots! The sky and weather is so unpredictable these days. We had a tornado come dangerously close to us over the weekend, bringing angry skies too.
Happy Friday!

Wow ... what a huge transition in your weather that day. Both are great photos ;--)

It's like that where I live too. Beautiful one minute, storming the next. Stunning storm clouds.

From lighthearted to very grumpy!

How that can happen, eh, Bobbie? Mother Nature is fickle. And mighty.

What a difference a few hours can make!

We started out like you but didn't get the violent thunderstorms. It's ironic that we could use more rains when we were so afraid of Hurricane Felicia hitting us.

The first is so benign, the second so ominous!

A great serial story! Subtle pattern change as shown in photos.

So it started off rather calm but ended with a lot of drama! Lucky you. We don't get thunderstorms here in the San Fran Bay Area. Thanks for stopping by my SWF post...
