Loggerhead Turtle Hatchlings

Thanks to our friend, Tootie, I found what I think is a delightful video of baby loggerhead turtles, leaving their nest on the Florida shore, and heading out to sea.

The loggerheads are an endangered species. It's good to see at least one nest full giving some hope. They are such cute little guys at this stage, too. Go on over here to the live cam, and watch. Then scroll down a little farther on the site and see a bit more.

Bobbie, I love sea turtles. Wouldn't it be wonderful if someday we didn't have any species on the endangered species list! I have endangered lesser long-nosed bats coming to my hummingbird feeders right now.
