Sky Watch #9

Today's Sky Watch falls on September 11th. At least the day I am posting this entry falls on that day. I have no pictures that I have taken myself of the New York skyline, either before or after the day when our world changed. This is the only picture I have that I thought appropriate.

Please go to the Sky Watch site, hosted by Tom, Sandy, Imac and Klaus, to see other photos and to participate yourself if you wish.

On this special day in our history your post is special too and quite meaningful to me. I like it a lot.

My Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.

And it shows a great sky. Thoughts with you from the other side of the Pond on a day of reflection and memories.

I have another site too so you can find my sky watch at the usual site and a second skywatch on my new site called Cath's Cradle.
Please come see if you get time.

Wonderful tribute to all the brave men and women who perished that day seven years ago. And to all our men and women who are fighting, have fought and died serving our country.

Appropriated tribute.

A fine picture and your sentiment is understandable. I am rendered almost speechless by the horror you commemorate. Nothing I say can be adequate.

Fitting skywatch shot for the day.
About your post above, I have had my doubts about the human race and lately America, the land of the free in particular for some time.
One rule for us and another for them whoever they may be. I lived through WW2 and am glad we don't live forever with the slaughter and condoned torture that is perpetrated in the name of democracy these days.
