We have reached the beginning of the celebration of Kwanzaa - "A celebration of Family, Community and Culture". December 26th until January 1st.
This is a relatively new celebration to most of us. You can learn more about it at the official Kwanzaa site, which is very interesting reading.

I saw a documentary about Kwanzaa, wonderful principles :)
We taught a unit on Kwanzaa in Illinois but nobody talks about it here in Hawaii. It's great that you've posted about it.
It is relatively unknown in the U.K too, I only learned about Kwanzaa through some of my vegetarian cookbooks. I am always amazed how food crosses cultural boundaries. Thank you for sharing.
