Shadow Shot Sunday #25
Time once again for Shadow Shot Sunday fun!
I started in my back door the other day, and saw my shadow reaching for the latch. As usual, I had my camera in the other hand, and snapped the picture.
Then my eyes went up further. There is a butterfly decal on the window pane. It's shadow fell on the blind inside.
Tracey hosts Shadow Shot Sunday from her home in Australia, so if you would like to say thank you to her, go to her blog, Hey Harriet, and do just that. While you are there, take a look at all the other shadow pictures that have been submitted.

Those are great! We haven't had enough sun lately for me to find any shadows anywhere! But I am enjoying photography and blogging so much! Have enjoyed "meeting" people like you and sharing the fun! Thanks for the great pics!
i really like the butterfly...but it's pretty neat how you captured your shadow at the door too. :) i need to check this site out.
Love them!!! Great visual play on reality and shadow worlds etcetc. Great post!
I really like the butterfly and how you captured your shadow on the door. BJ
Bobbie: That butterfly shadow is so cool.
Good for you - we need to make sure we have our camera ready to go!! That butterfly shot is pretty fun too - nice shots this week!
This was really fun. I love the butterfly shadow. You are really making me take notice to shadows.
nice door shadow. I love the butterfly decal shadow shot. The butterfly's pattern looks so delicate and reminds me of frosted glass.
Beautiful shadows, one welcoming you home, the other, a decoration with twice its appeal. Both lovely.
I love how shadow shots present themselves and I love your shadow shots.

Haha! You sound like me! I always have my camera by my side!
These are great shots, and I especially love the beautiful butterfly one!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend :)
Wow..what lovely bright sunshine you must be getting! Great shadow and the butterfly one is amazing..love the detail! :D
I really like the butterfly one!
I love both shots. Your shadow reaching for the latch has a slightly spooky feel, while your butterfly makes you think all's right in the world.
Boy our eyes are wide open now aren't they...I even caught myself looking at a shadow on a program I was watching on TV...is that an addiction...hmmm, cool butterfly!
Love the first photo. Don't we live with a camera in our hands?
Good pix. I like the negative spaces you can see in shadows.
Hi Bobbi,
Wonderful shots you got today, too! Lucky you, that you still have a nice sunlight.
Hugs on Sunday!

Que linda mariposa-such a pretty butterfly! I love seeing your shadow in there too!
What a delicate shadow the butterfly casts. Nice one, Bobbie!
Bobbie ~ These are always fascinating and I particularly enjoyed the delicate, filigreed butterfly shadow. I, too, seem to have my trusty camera at hand, constantly. This is an interesting sub-category of something that's rapidly becoming an obsession. Thanks for getting me to consider this wonderful aspect of photography... Deb
That butterfly shadow is really something!! Beautiful and absolutely so delicate :D
Love the first shot .. the second is good but I love that you (like me) always have your camera!
