Shadow Shot Sunday

Sunday in Australia, Saturday in the U.S. Wherever you are, Tracy is hosting Shadow Shot Sunday for us once again. Thanks, Tracy.

I was waiting in the parking lot for my daughter to come out after her dental appointment, and I liked the way the shadows looked on the steps of the office building.

Then I headed home again.

I love the shadow lines on the brick steps
and of course, you take the best shadows of yourself :)

The worst kind of shadows are those in Hiroshima and Nagasaki caused by the atomoc bomb light.

Wonderful how the shadow zigzags up the steps and great self portrait!

The shadow on this building seems so right, the multiple angles of the office complex...the shadows from large to well detailed on the brick steps. The photo artist at work seems a bit mysterious as a shadow, the artist at work. Nice captures!

Who would think that something beautiful could come out of a dentist's office? Well done!

Love the self-portrait. I guess you have short hair, judging by the shadow.
I'll have to keep that in mind to do some day.

The shadows on the steps are like soldiers in a line, or something in similar formation.
I like the sky and trees reflected in the large windows. Nice capture.

The brick steps really add some complexity to the shadow railings!
Too cute how you added yourself coming home.

Nice! While I'm always charmed by nature's shadows, structural shadows make such strong statements. Enjoyed your "artist at repose," as well.
