Sky Watch #19
The cold November sunsets do not seem to be as vivid as last month's evening skies. But though they are paler, they are still beautiful.
I was in a shopping center about a week ago, and as I walked back to my car, I looked up and saw this sky.
When I reached my car, I continued to watch the sky until it grew dark.
Please go to the Sky Watch site to see more wonderful skies. Sky Watch is made possible through the efforts of a growing team of people. Thanks to them all for their efforts in continuing to make this possible for us all.

Your fall sunsets look like ours, grayer, but still beautiful! Always look forward to your posts, Bobbi!
Hello! Vivid or not, it is still a beautiful sunset sky. Lisa
I think sunsets are grayer as well. But we sure have been having great sunrises here.
Ralph
These are beautiful, I would have grabbed my camera, too. They almost look like feathers in the sky!
These were wonderful sky shots. A little scary actually, but amazing.
How beautiful these skies are! Spot on!
Cheers, Klaus
great catch! Happy SkyWatching! I am back now... Hope you'll visit mine too...
Oh, I just love these. That purple-blue is so amazing. I would have stopped at stared as well.
Still more beautiful than most.
I think they're beautiful too, Bobbie.
Happy Sky Watch!
These are lovely pictures Bobbie.
The clouds have a texture, which makes me think of lace.
Thank you for sharing.
Such delightful skies. Always a pleasure to come by to see your Sky Watch post!!

As the weather gets colder, the air retains less moisture which is in part responsible for those fiery sunrises and sunsets we see in the warmer months. But even without vivid colors, these shots "work". Nicely done!
Great shots of the sky - moody!
What a pleasant treat. Nice series of photos.
Isn't it amazing how the sky can look different season to season. Always something new to offer. Beautiful.
Very calm but still striking.
The sky is a constant souce of wonderful sights.
Greetings from New Zealand.
Bobbie: A very nice capture for sure as the sky progressed to night.
I am glad you took the time to capture these. They are beautiful.
I so love that first one! My eye is drawn to the white swirling-like cloud in the center.
Very beautiful!
Beautiful skies, great skywatch post.
The Sky Watch intrigues me. Yesterday I saw Watery Wednesday. It's a good way to focus on a post, without having to think of too many options. Nice photos by the way.
great sky shots. the gray sky looks like it is cold there. Have a great week.
Very pretty sunset you found. Isn't it nice to have your camera around all the time ready for these goodies.
Bobbie, do we get to vote on your profile pictures? I liked the 'forever' little girl child you used to have the best so far. I got to recognizing that one.
Thank you for peeking in, I liked looking at the fog and dew too.
Happy SkyWatching!
..
Wonderful photos! I wish we'd have a few gray and cloudy days here in Phoenix a little more often-we sure enjoy those gloomy days over constant sunshine! Sounds terrible, but true!
I love dark gray skies!!
Doesn't if look like there's a giant cross statue at the horizon in the first shot!!
Very pretty soft colors in your photo.
Wow! Nice series of shots. The last few minutes of sun set happens very quickly, and suddenly it is dark.
A great way to say good bye to the day. A little blue and gold ribbons before all is swallowed up by the night. I love your photos they are very poetic.
Lovely pale colours stubbornly surviving the looming darkness! Beautiful!
Bleu, grey, red,... the sky is beautiful in any season.
I love your sky pictures, they are really great!
It seems that we had the same sky these days...
Happy Sky Watch, Bobbie. Great captures of a very lovely, interesting sky.
Sunset time shot last week. Mine were shot a few months back at:

Cold ... brrr .. but beautiful, I hope you were bundled up!

I find the 'isthmus' shaped cloud connecting the two larger clumps in the first photo very interesting. Happy Skywatch Friday.
Bobbie all images are striking however it's the first that is so expressive!
I love the progression of your shots. You have to capture the sunsets when they're there, they disappear so fast. Wonderful photos.
I love how the clouds look like ribbons in the second and third photos.
Great sunset sequence... love the progression to dusk and the softer, more muted tones of this season./Deb
Wonderful captures! Methinks variety is wonderful ... especially when it comes to skies.
Hugs and blessings,
Do the tones change from day to day in the winter?
Yae, Bobbie! These are a great series of Sky Watch photos! Have a great weekend.
These are all really remarkable shots. I love all the clouds and their unique shapes.
Beautiful strokes.
Great sky pics bobbie. It's a cold November sky in Nebraska as well. brrr
also: I didn't know Lisa would put up curtains. I'm supposed to do that today so I'm going to see if I can hire Lisa to do it for me.
Beautiful skies always here...
They ARE beautiful. There is something about the quality of light in cold weather that is uniqute and beautiful.
Bobbie, as long as you can see and appreciate this beauty you are alive in more ways than one! Just lovely!
Awesome sunsets!!!
