Sky Watch #19

The cold November sunsets do not seem to be as vivid as last month's evening skies. But though they are paler, they are still beautiful.

I was in a shopping center about a week ago, and as I walked back to my car, I looked up and saw this sky.

When I reached my car, I continued to watch t
he sky until it grew dark.

Please go to the Sky Watch site to see more wonderful skies. Sky Watch is made possible through the efforts of a growing team of people. Thanks to them all for their efforts in continuing to make this possible for us all.

Your fall sunsets look like ours, grayer, but still beautiful! Always look forward to your posts, Bobbi!

I think sunsets are grayer as well. But we sure have been having great sunrises here.

These are beautiful, I would have grabbed my camera, too. They almost look like feathers in the sky!

These are lovely pictures Bobbie.
The clouds have a texture, which makes me think of lace.
Thank you for sharing.

As the weather gets colder, the air retains less moisture which is in part responsible for those fiery sunrises and sunsets we see in the warmer months. But even without vivid colors, these shots "work". Nicely done!

The Sky Watch intrigues me. Yesterday I saw Watery Wednesday. It's a good way to focus on a post, without having to think of too many options. Nice photos by the way.

Very pretty sunset you found. Isn't it nice to have your camera around all the time ready for these goodies.
Bobbie, do we get to vote on your profile pictures? I liked the 'forever' little girl child you used to have the best so far. I got to recognizing that one.
Thank you for peeking in, I liked looking at the fog and dew too.
Happy SkyWatching!

Wonderful photos! I wish we'd have a few gray and cloudy days here in Phoenix a little more often-we sure enjoy those gloomy days over constant sunshine! Sounds terrible, but true!

I love dark gray skies!!

Doesn't if look like there's a giant cross statue at the horizon in the first shot!!

Very pretty soft colors in your photo.

Wow! Nice series of shots. The last few minutes of sun set happens very quickly, and suddenly it is dark.

A great way to say good bye to the day. A little blue and gold ribbons before all is swallowed up by the night. I love your photos they are very poetic.

I find the 'isthmus' shaped cloud connecting the two larger clumps in the first photo very interesting. Happy Skywatch Friday.

I love the progression of your shots. You have to capture the sunsets when they're there, they disappear so fast. Wonderful photos.

I love how the clouds look like ribbons in the second and third photos.

Great sunset sequence... love the progression to dusk and the softer, more muted tones of this season./Deb
