Shadow Shot Sunday
Tracy, of Hey Harriet, is once again hosting Shadow Shot Sunday for us, and has many wonderful and fun shadows to show us. Follow the link to find them for yourself.
My shadows today are from my garden. Not too many flowers blooming yet, but these are a few of the early ones.
First, the day lilies are starting to open.
I do love Queen Anne's lace, and last fall I threw some dried flower heads into my garden.
It would seem that I had to get myself into the picture too.
And even the hanging basket had some pretty shadows.

Those lilies are what I have called Ditch Lilies as they grow wild around here in side ditches along beside the roads out in the country. They are nice. Most of mine are in bloom too. I don't have any Queen Ann Lace but I got some really nice Yarrow in bloom now.
Such lovely flowers and glorious colors! Terrific shadow shots for the day, Bobbie! Enjoy your weekend!
Make hay while the sun shines.......................................................
The plants are beautiful, the bold colors of Spring pleasing to the eye. The shadows are artistic and natural shapes, showcasing the warm sun we craved since Winter...
Beautiful shots, very lovely flowers.
Beautiful! I love lilies. All lilies. And I always have petunias in the hanging baskets and big planters. Love these, Bobbie.
my day lilies haven't bloomed yet
they're late each year
your shadows are lovely
Beautiful shadow shots.
Your bright orange lilies are breathtaking.
Have a great weekend!
Mmmmmm...lovely indeed! I especially like the second daylilly with the fly on the edge of the petal!
My day lilies are not blooming yet but my Asiatic lily are. Nice capture! Happy Sunday!
Beautiful shots. Day Lilies are one of my favourites. I love the bright colours.
Queen Anne's lace grows here wild and always looks lovely
Isn't it glorious that we can step into our gardens and forget all of the atrocities brought on to Nature by man's greed...if only for a moment...enjoy your Queen Anne's Lace and lilies in your garden, as I will in mine!!!
Gotta love those sunshiny days that make flowers grow so they can cast beautiful shadows!
Seeing the shadows as well as the lovely flowers helps one feel the heat of the unseen sun.
Your flowers are lovely - and they make such lovely shadows!
Those lilies have a lovely colour and make great shadows. Never knew that flower is called Queen Anne's lace. What a romantic name for such a delicate flower! Those flowers have a nice aniseed like smell.
Enjoy your Sunday!
So lovely! Your day lilies are especially pretty!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
oooh, I miss sun!
SSS greetings from rainy and cold (+10 C) Helsinki, Finland!
One more week to go and then back to Casablanca! I hope it's warmer there :)
Have a great day and good week ahead!
Such a pretty daylilly shadow - that second one is stunning! Queen Anne's lace runs wild by the fields where we grew up...many a summer we went and picked a big bouquet to put on our dining table for our mom! Fun memories!
Enjoy your week Bobbie!
I love your Lily shadows!
They are so decorative - shadows and lilies!

Yup, I saw your shadow peeking around the corner to snap the illusive Queen Anne's Lace shadow!! Your lilies are soooo pretty. Mine are still but buds! It's been cooler in farrr N.Idaho than other places though.
