Shadow Shot Sunday

Tracy, of Hey Harriet, is once again hosting Shadow Shot Sunday for us, and has many wonderful and fun shadows to show us. Follow the link to find them for yourself.

My shadows today are from my garden. Not too many flowers blooming yet, but these are a few of the early ones.

First, the day lilies are starting to open.

I do love Queen Anne's lace, and last fall I threw some dried flower heads into my garden.
It would seem that I had to get myself into the picture too.

And even the hanging basket had some pretty shadows.

Those lilies are what I have called Ditch Lilies as they grow wild around here in side ditches along beside the roads out in the country. They are nice. Most of mine are in bloom too. I don't have any Queen Ann Lace but I got some really nice Yarrow in bloom now.

The plants are beautiful, the bold colors of Spring pleasing to the eye. The shadows are artistic and natural shapes, showcasing the warm sun we craved since Winter...

Beautiful! I love lilies. All lilies. And I always have petunias in the hanging baskets and big planters. Love these, Bobbie.

Isn't it glorious that we can step into our gardens and forget all of the atrocities brought on to Nature by man's greed...if only for a moment...enjoy your Queen Anne's Lace and lilies in your garden, as I will in mine!!!

Gotta love those sunshiny days that make flowers grow so they can cast beautiful shadows!

Seeing the shadows as well as the lovely flowers helps one feel the heat of the unseen sun.

Those lilies have a lovely colour and make great shadows. Never knew that flower is called Queen Anne's lace. What a romantic name for such a delicate flower! Those flowers have a nice aniseed like smell.

Enjoy your Sunday!
