Sky Watch #53
Sky Watch Friday has arrived once again! Many thanks to the team that keeps us going: Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Louise, Fishing Guy, and Wren.
I found my way back to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse last week. Their gardens are so beautiful! If you ever get to New Jersey, take Route 147 from either Route 9 or the Garden State Parkway, into North Wildwood. It would be well worth your time. The lighthouse itself is a great place to tour, but their gardens are absolutely fabulous every summer.
These flowers are near the front of the lighthouse.
The gazing ball reflects a little of the sky along with the lighthouse itself.
I took this one while sitting in the shade garden, looking up through the pines.
And this one, sitting on a bench under an arbor, near the herb garden.
If you go two posts below, you can see more of the gardens.

What is it with lighthouses that make me feel so nostalgic? I live by a lighthouse and I love it when it is cloudy or misty and I can hear the horn going.
Your photos are great, and I especially enjoyed the gazing ball as I had never seen one.
Oh, Bobbie, what beautiful photos! I particularly love the last two with the leaves and limbs etched against the puffy cloud filled sky! Perfect!
I love the altocumulus pillows behind your flowers. Awesome skies. Looks like a beautiful place.
Beautiful peaceful skies in such a lovely location! Neat gingerbread trim on the house, too1
Bobbie: Those were a nice series of captures at the lighthouse.
Beautiful lighthouse and garden. Love the reflection in the little bowl too.
Very impressive photos, Bobbie. I love those gardens and your skies are very cheerful.
Lovely collection of photos for Sky Watch Friday, darling little lighthouse with so much personality, thanks for sharing with us all.
Lovely sky, lovely flowers!
That is the most adorable lighthouse I've ever seen. I wonder if they are in need of a keeper. :)
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Great shots, lovely
Happy skywatching
Thanks, Bobbie - your comment did come through! Sorry you had trouble.
This is such a charming lighthouse - with lovely gardens. I like especially the last photo.
Lovely photos - I like the trees framing the sky. Nice contrast between the two.
Great pics Bobbie! That lighthouse is charming! I would love to live there..looks like my style of home!
Excellent selection of photos, thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend.

some folks sure know how to create and nurture gardens. Lovely.
Quiet and peaceful Bobbie.
Lovely captures with the skies twinkling through the trees. The entrance to the lighthouse invites one in.
Have a good weekend
bobbie, that lighthouse is so cute and quaint! Lovely pictures all and the bottom one looks like you are looking at a sky full of cotton balls!
A lighthouse post is neat... I have never been to a lighthouse before... this is beautiful.
Beautiful flowers, house, place and sky. :)
Happy weekend!
That's an interesting lighthouse. Your views are wonderful.
what pretty gardens Bobbie! This looks like a place I would love to visit.
Lovely garden and lovelier skies.
That is such a beautiful lighthouse building..Nice to see some blue skies where you are as they are lacking here....
Beautiful sky views behind this wonderful lighthouse. I wish I lived close enough to visit it in person.
Hugs and blessings,
I really enjoyed these photos of the flowers and garden.A very different lighthouse..unlike most we see!
"Sweet" photographs of skies and lighthouse and flowers.

I like your looking up photos the best, I feel like I'm there with you
I wish I was nearby and could see this garden. I sent the link to my friend in NY and perhaps she will be able to visit. I also like your rain garden post below. But even a soaker hose on a downspout is a help, I have learned.
Lovely cottage garden, so fitting with a lighthouse. Nice shots.
I've never seen a lighthouse that lovely before. They're very different over here! This is a great collection of photos. I wish I could visit that area...
