Bobbie & Isaac

I've been overwhelmed with the beautiful responses and memorial posts about my mom. Thanks to all. There is still so much to do and on so little sleep. I'd like to get some pictures scanned in that I don't think I've seen her post on here -- like as a young woman with her sister. But for now, here are a few pictures of Bobbie with Isaac from the last three years. Some you may have seen before. Kitty

Thank you so much, Kitty, for the marvelous and beautiful photos of my dear friend, Bobbie! What a joy she was and how much of that joy she brought into my life each and every day. I can only imagine the sense of loss that you have, because of the loss of a wonderful friend that I have! My heart is with you and all of Bobbie's family!

Kitty, I know that if we have lived near each other, your mom and I would have been good friends. I always enjoyed reading her posts, and although many of the later ones were only photos - I enjoyed them too. She will be missed. I look forward to seeing some photos of her as a young woman.

Fabulous ... he was the light of her life and while I am sure you were all disappointed that the airline snafu nixed your vacation, I think somehow it happened because she needed that one last time with you'all while she could still enjoy it completely ... and she did ... xo

I keep clicking on Bobbie's blog wishing she were still here. I do miss her friendly comments each day. Bobbie was a wonderful role model for me. I loved her stories of her early life and her mother and father. My parents were divorced also as hers was and her writing helped me sort out angers that I had had over the past. I hsve two little grandsons the same age as Issac and I understood her love and pride and joy that she shared with us all. Thank you for posting the photos today, they are lovely. I was very touched by your posting of the news of Bobbie's passing. You are doing,, have done a terrific job keeping everyone informed. Bobbie has a wonderful family maintaining her connection wit all. Thank you. I miss Bobbie so much. Ann in New Brunswick, Canada

Dear Kitty,

My heart aches when I open my laptop today. I & my fam is in my homeland Philippines for a 5 weeks vacations, therefore ain't open my blog.

Just now, 6.30pm Asia time I know when I supposed to say hi to her as we are best mates in SSS meme with Tracy from downunder.

A sorrowful condolence to your family. Though our hearts break, I know Dear B, joined tóur Saviour peacefully.

Tears falling now, the only respect I can send to B not Almost There but B There.

"B" hope you still join with us every Saturday/Sunday.

Much love...

When I first started my blog in desperation for contact from a remote campground in Utah asking if there was anybody out there. Bobbie was one of the first to reply. She always followed my blog usually making very helpful comments. And hers was the first blog I checked. When I stopped blogging she emailed me to find out why. Now traveling in Alaska I have infrequent access to internet but I did check her blog right after the morning she wrote her last entry and was concerned that it seemed curious that she was reviewing her life. So although I was shaken and saddened when I got the email Kitty sent out I thought in some way Bobbie must have known. My life has been so different from Bobbie's yet we connected and somehow I know we would have been more than just blog friends if we had met. Thank you for posting the pictures of her. I will miss her.

It's been well over a year since I put anything on my blog, but Bobbie used to post comments... I am so sad that I had not kept up with this and kept up with her... My deepest condolences for such a wonderful lady. She spread cheer and friendship throughout the blog world and our world was made richer for it.

Thank you for the wonderful photos that depict so well her jest for life and cheerful demeanour.

Her posts were a joy to read, in as much as her concerns for issues that wrote about with such passion.

The last picture of them both walking away is poignant.

She will be missed much for the wonderful ways in which she touched lives around her.
