BOTANIC GARDENS

Just a thought. Before spring has gone, you might want to take a look at Spring at the U.S. Botanic Gardens and see what's blooming in D.C.

And if you're living anywhere near us, here in New Jersey, you might enjoy a visit - or if you live elsewhere, you might enjoy a visit via
your computer to, Leaming's Run Gardens.

There are so many other wonderful sites like these. If you have a favorite, I'd really like to know about it. Maybe you could leave a comment, or put it on your blog. I'd love to explore them on line.

Thanks.

please note: the picture from Leaming's Run is not mine. It is signed by a member of the Aprill family, who own and operate the gardens. I've posted many of my own in earlier posts.

I love LOVE the Brookgreen gardens. If you ever make it to SC, you should definitely go.

what a beautiful photo bobbie

years ago I went to the Bronx Zoo and the Bronx Botanical Gardens often. My sister went to Fordham and it was always a great trip.

I have to say I have yet to explore all the beauty NJ has to offer - I hope to do something about that this summer.

Thanks so much, Tranny. I went to the site and it does seem really beautiful. The zoo too! And it was founded the year before I was born - not that that makes it special, but it was interesting to me.

Hi Bobbie, Thanks for the visit and comments. Always glad to meet new folks. I see, like me, you live at the southern tip of your current state of residence. That makes us both Southerners right? I haven't had time to explore your site yet, but I will get by later for a more relaxed look. Thanks again, Pappy, "The Texican"

There are so many beautiful parts of the world and we are so lucky to have them at our finger tips on the web.

By the way, that picture isn't mine. It's by one of the Aprill family signed by them, so I didn't think I had to mention it.

I have lived near DC most of my life and never been there - I will visit soon and report what I saw :)
