Mellow Yellow Monday #18

Hope you had a Happy Mothers' Day!

On Mellow Yellow Monday, Drowsey Monkey hosts this meme for us. I really enjoy finding new, bright yellow subjects for my camera.

One day last week it was so beautiful that I decided to take a little ride. As I cruised along, I spied a huge field of buttercups. Two horses were grazing, far back from the road. Just had to stop. Please click for a better look at the field of flowers.

Our world would be even brighter if we could all join together and work for peace. Please consider joining the Blogblast for Peace this fall.

I'll bet the horses are loving all of those tasty buttercups, too.

Beauty lies in simple things even in a quiet yellowy surrounding such as this. Thanks to the buttercups and Mellow Yellow Monday.

Ahhh buttercups! That looks so pretty. I thought they were dandelions at first which always sends shivers up my husband's spine.

Wonderful photos .... such a peaceful scene.

I love buttercups. As kids, we used to hold them under our chins. If the yellow was reflected on our skin, then it meant we liked butter :-)
