A Legos Birthday

Since my grandson and family were to be away over his birthday last month, I sent him a gift certificate for Legos. When they got home again, they ordered what he wanted from the catalog, and he has been waiting for them every since.

Now Kitty tells me that he told her that they were coming. He said that he had seen a delivery truck go by, and he could see through it and knew they were there, but the truck had to deliver things to other people first. They would arrive later. Sure enough, in the afternoon, they were delivered. Guess you didn't know my grandson has X-ray vision, did you?

Kit promised to send me pictures when he starts building!

X-ray vision? I'm jealous. That would be very handy! Your grandson is going to enjoy his lego so much. Looking forward to seeing what he builds! Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend Bobbie :)

My children, especially Patrick, loved Legos and since Patrick saves everything, whenever he visits my grandson in Europe he brings some along.

Aren't grandsons great?! I bought lego for two little boys in November and took their fsther's old lego to them. I t was amazing to see how well my son could still put things together!. We also gave them lego for Christmas too. But we maybe overdid it as my little 5 year old grandson was looking for transformers! Another grandson is celebrating his 5th. birthday this weekend ,but I missed his party as I have a cold and stayed home rather than share it with others. I've enjoyed reading of your grandson's 5th. birthday. It is sucha special milestone I think. Wow. my little boys are getting to be such big boys and are such interesting people. How wonderful that your grandson was right about the arrival time of your gift. A gift certificate is a good idea for gift giving when they can make their own choice. Our next family birthday a granddaughter turns three... hmmm.. what to buy? Isn't it all so much fun? I enjoyed your post as I always do. Ann

Legos have always prompted imaginative play. The legos of today add more dazzle as well. Sounds like your grandson is all aboard. My seven year old son loves legos also...great fun.
