Traveler, the path is nothing more than your footsteps; traveler, there is no path, a path is made as you go. You make the path as you go, and on looking back you see a trail that never can be walked again. Traveler, there is no path, only a wake in the sea. - Antonio Machado

I am very sorry about Jack. I know he was a special person to you. Lisa
I lost a very dear friend this year and though over the years our paths seldom crossed anymore, the world is bit lonely without him. Friends are very special and I understand the sadness of the loss of one.
I, too, am sorry for your loss. He has very kind eyes.
Bobbie,
I'm sorry for your loss of your good friend Jack. His face is so kind and lovely.
In sympathy,
Gina
Hi Bobbie,
I can tell that Jack is an important person in your life. What a loving gesture to post his image in your blog! I've not been with you long enough to know who he is, but I do know that Parkinson's is a cruel disease. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Thank you all very much for the kind words. Jack was a childhood friend and a Maryknoll priest. He suffered with Parkinson's for a long time, and he died peacefully on Friday. I do appreciate your thoughts.
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I also lost my father-in-law to Parkinsons'
I remember your last post about him. I'm sorry bobbie
Peace
Bobbie, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Jack has a kind face and I'm sure he was very special.

Dear Bobbie--so sorry about your friend. His face says it all about who he was. What a loss this must be.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I recall your posts about him...he was a very special friend to you. The gift of friendship lives on in our hearts, even though the one we love is no longer with us here on this earth.
Again, thank you all. It's difficult to lose someone you have known all of your life,
but after living so long with Parkinson's, I'm told that he was prepared for it to end, and he was at peace.
Bobbie: I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I'm certain so many wonderful things live on in the fruits of all great relationships.
Love.

Loosing a friend can be difficult. And to have suffered for a long time is heart breaking. I hope he is at peace now.
I'm so sorry to learn that you lost someone close to you.
Memories. They serve us so well during and following grief.
May yours do right by you!
Many thanks to you all. Your concern means a great deal to me.
