Sunflowers

I just love sunflowers.

Had great success growing them one year,
and then never could manage to make them grow for several years in a row, wherever I was living. I didn't even try for a long time here, but this year I decided to try it.

As it
turned out, they are abut the only flowers that did grow this year.

They make me happy.

Your sunflowers are just beautiful. I don't have any sun in my yard so they won't grow or bloom but I love them. I saw the protest on t.v. last night about that stupid guy with his ignorant comments. They said he would not take back what he said about the children!

Your pictures of your sunflowers are beautiful! You certainly have a "green thumb"

They are just lovely and certainly a sign that summer is here!

Hope you are having a good week!

I'm so happy for your lovely sunflowers, Bobbie! I have had similar experience with them. One year, when the girls were little, we had gigantic ones - at least 8' tall. They were planted in a ring and we have photos of us standing among them, so dwarfed by their greatness and beauty. That is the last time I have had a lot of sunflowers. Last year we had maybe three of the smaller variety pop up. That's it.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos.

Peace & love,
Gina

Thanks for reminding me to go look at mine, snap a few photos - and blog them!
