Gaza

One more sad story. Another case of violence, destruction, horror. And truly, neither side is right, there is wrong on both sides, but in this case, it isn't just a matter of who started it all. It's a matter of who is using excuses to overwhelm the little guy and beat him down. I just read Dianne's post and watched the video she presented. I share her outrage and her frustration over this situation. My heart aches once more to think of the innocents enduring what must be horrific conditions.

How quickly the leaders of nations are able to forget what they and their families once endured, and become willing to be the bad guy.

I is indeed sad, too sad. Over here, there's non stop news on Gaza, non stop appeals from everyone from the higher authorities to everyone else in the world to help. Those who can, wont, and those who wants to cannot. We can only pray Bobbi...I can never understand war, the right to take away a precious life, what more so many died.

The children on both sides are the victims, but that doesn't seem to be what either side gives much thought to, it's just the same age old hatreds that seem to all that matters and that seems to drive the leaders on both sides.

there is quite the discussion going on over at my place Bobbie!

I have upset some people but I guess that was to be expected.

I have never been one to mince words and I'm not going to now - I have lived too long and seen too much for that to ever be possible for me.

In fact - I feel a follow-up post coming since I have gotten some 'interesting' e-mails but unlike the leaders on either side of this horror I'm going to consider all views first.

Thanks for speaking up Bobbie.

So sad and such a tragedy. I hate war. I can barely stand to watch it all on television and I feel so sorry for the innocent victims.

Yes, very sad. And when you think that the square root of the conflict goes so far back, it's like - hasn't there been enough fighting yet??

There are so many hot spots in the world that it feels like it's never going to end. Hatred will just continue. I wish people from all the different countries would just get on-line and learn about each other and try not to hate.
